Grant Criteria:
We only consider applications from nonprofit organizations with a section 501(c)(3) tax status, or from a Registered Canadian Charity.
We only consider applicants from Northeast Ohio and Pugwash, Nova Scotia. If your organization falls outside of this geographic scope, no matter how worthwhile it may be, we cannot consider it for funding.
We only consider grant proposals for efforts in the following categories:
We typically fund organizations that
are small or newly-established
are innovative
lack support from larger funders
In addition, we support

The Cyrus Eaton Foundation typically distributes approximately $160,000 over two funding cycles per year. See grant cycle information . Grants range from $1000 to $5000. In rare circumstances we may be able to consider “High Impact Grants” of $5000 to $15,000.
